June has been good to the garden, wet and gray.

You can see the squash, beans on some homemade supports along the left side. Peppers, eggplants and cosmos along the left. What you can’t see is the leeks, cukes and arugula.

Tomatoes! We’re going to have more ‘maters 2 weeks earlier than anyone else! Now I understand what compels those people who grow huge veggies for ribbons at county fairs. Competitive gardening…

Behind them are the greens and chanterais melons.

The only crop that isn’t doing well is the beans, which are being eaten by something. We can’t figure out what.
