We all went along on Peter’s biz trip to SF in early Oct.\u00a0 P went to work, R took care of S (work), so I guess Simon is the only one who got a proper vacation. And he doesn’t know the difference!<\/p>\n

But we did have a yummy dinner at the Fifth Floor.<\/p>\n

Peter ordered the Sazerac as usual<\/p><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

And our hotel room had a deep spa tub so we all piled in and gave Simon a bath. (No photos of naked people<\/a> on this blog. Only naked babies<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

We visited P’s office, which has a view of the ferry building and the Bay Bridge. More importantly, Salesforce.com<\/a> has a lactation room. How enlightened. That’s how you get on those best companies to work for lists<\/a>. (No photos of boobs on this blog.)<\/p>\n

Simon and I strolled around the Ferry Plaza farmers market and people-watched.<\/p>\n

Then we rode the F line back up Market St. FYI, they don’t allow strollers. You have to get your kid out and drag both up the stairs and into the vintage street car.<\/p>\n

The next day Simon and I camped out in Yerba Buena Park with the tourists, lunch breakers and bums. We also caught up with old friends in the East Bay and met Simon’s NorCal cousins.<\/p>\n

His Aunt Janet introduced him to some new songs (not my Aunt Janet, who has a whole bunch of songs) and the baby dance. Here Peter and Daphne demonstrate the key move — the infant-soothing squat. It worked for Simon, but it just sent Daphne and Peter into fits of giggles.<\/p>\n
