Hair: Red, as previously noted. Spikey on top, widow’s peak in the front. Fluffy after a bath, greasy after a couple of days.
Eyebrows: Invisible blond.
Eyes: Lively. Blue at the moment. Left eye is currently red, puss-y and infected with bacterial conjunctivitis. He’s barely 6 weeks old and already we’re dealing with pinkeye. Adorable little disease vector.
Ears: Perfect.
Nose: Typical baby chata nariz de gata.
Mouth: “His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow.”
Cheeks: Pink and pinchable. Elusive dimple on left side of mouth when he smiles.
Chins: Double. He needs a spare to store his dirt under.
Neck: Rarely seen under chins but it’s getting stronger by the day.
Shoulders and arms: So chubby that he looks like a mini-linebacker.
Hands: Fat little fingers taper elegantly, like in a Renaissance painting. Knuckles feature Cabbage Patch Kid dimples.
Thumb: Doesn’t work yet. Decorative?
Tummy: Round pudginess is enhanced by the cut of his cloth diapers which accentuate his curves. He’s all curves.
Bellybutton: Innie.
Legs: Bowlegged. Thighs are creased with a double fat roll. Double dimpled knees.
Feet: Velvety soft.
